Terms of Service
Quick Summary (not legally binding):
- Record audio and send it to your own webhook URLs. We don't host your recordings.
- Free plan: 1 webhook. Premium plan: unlimited webhooks (auto-renewing subscription via Apple / Google).
- You're responsible for getting any legally required consent to record and share audio.
- We collect minimal technical & subscription data to run, secure, and improve the app (see Privacy Policy).
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel a paid subscription - do that in the App Store / Google Play settings.
1. Who We Are
Webhook Audio Recorder (the "App") and related website/landing page (the "Site") are provided by:
CodeJungle Sp. z o.o.
ul. Kawki 51, 42-140 Panki, Polska
KRS: 0000722231 | NIP: 574-206-42-22 | REGON: 369 658 794
E-mail: [email protected]
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
3. Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Where local law requires parental consent for processing a child's personal data in information society services (generally up to age 16; Member States may set 13–16), please obtain that consent before use.
4. Description of the Service
The App lets you:
- Record high-quality audio.
- Send recordings automatically to webhook URLs that you configure.
- Add optional headers/auth tokens; queue & retry uploads; view status history.
- Auto-delete local recordings after a configurable period (default 7 days) if enabled.
- Use widgets and cross-platform features (iOS / Android) subject to plan limits.
We do not permanently store your audio on CodeJungle servers. Audio is recorded locally and transmitted to the webhook endpoints you provide. Delivery depends on your network, your webhook availability, and device state; we cannot guarantee successful or timely delivery. (See Section 8 for responsibilities.)
5. Plans & Subscriptions
Free: 1 webhook; core features.
Premium: Unlimited webhooks + extended features - sold as an auto-renewing in-app subscription processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Billing & Renewal
- Auto-renew: Subscriptions renew at the end of each paid period unless cancelled.
- Platform billing: Purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store rules.
- Manage / Cancel: You can view, change, or cancel your subscription in your device account settings (Apple ID Subscriptions; Google Play Subscriptions). Uninstalling the App does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel before the renewal cutoff to avoid the next charge (store rules apply).
Price Changes
App store rules govern how and when subscription price increases take effect and what notice is provided; if you do not agree to a new price you must cancel before the effective renewal date as explained by the platform.
6. Trials, Promotions & Upgrades
We may offer introductory pricing, free trials, or promotional codes consistent with Apple/Google platform policies. When a trial ends, regular pricing begins unless you cancel in time through your platform account.
7. Recording Responsibility & Legal Compliance
You are solely responsible for the audio you record and where you send it. Laws governing audio / call / voice recording vary by country and sometimes by region (one-party vs. all-party consent; notice requirements; lawful bases under privacy laws). In many jurisdictions you must inform participants that recording is taking place and have a valid legal basis (e.g., consent, legitimate interests, legal obligation) under applicable data protection law such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies. Do not record or share audio without required permission or lawful basis.
8. Your Webhooks; Data Flow; Our Role
You supply the webhook URLs. When you trigger a recording upload, the App attempts to upload the audio file to your endpoint with any headers/auth you configure. Because you control the destination, you (and/or the party operating that webhook) are the controller for the recording once transmitted; CodeJungle does not monitor, validate, or secure your webhook infrastructure. Under GDPR, when personal data is processed on behalf of a controller, the controller must choose processors that provide adequate safeguards via contract; please ensure your webhook environment and any downstream processors meet applicable requirements.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Record, transmit, or share content that infringes rights, violates law, or invades privacy.
- Use the App to harass, stalk, defame, or illegally surveil.
- Attempt to access or interfere with systems you do not own or control.
- Introduce malware or circumvent security measures.
- Misrepresent identity when sending audio to systems that depend on truthful identification.
We may suspend or restrict the App (in whole or part) if we believe misuse, fraud, or legal risk exists.
10. Privacy
Use of the App and Site is subject to our Privacy Policy (below). That Policy explains what limited technical and subscription data we collect (e.g., crash logs, purchase status), how we use Firebase services, and your privacy rights under applicable laws.
11. Feedback
If you send feature ideas, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant CodeJungle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the App and related services, with no obligation to compensate you.
12. Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (including Free or Premium plan elements) with reasonable notice where practicable. If we discontinue a paid subscription service you have already purchased, we will follow the applicable app store refund/credit processes.
13. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis and may not be error-free. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uploads, audio quality on all devices, or successful delivery to your webhook. Platform billing, subscription renewals, and refunds are governed by the app store provider.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeJungle's total liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed (a) the amount you actually paid for the App or in-app subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50 if you have not made any paid purchases—whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud, intentional misconduct, or where consumer protection law prohibits limitation).
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeJungle and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (i) your recordings; (ii) your webhook configuration and downstream data uses; (iii) violation of law (including call-recording and privacy laws); or (iv) breach of these Terms.
16. Governing Law; Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence will still apply to you where required by law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Poland unless mandatory law provides otherwise for consumers.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version in the App/Site and update the "Effective Date." Where required by law or material to you (e.g., subscription changes), we will provide additional notice (in-app message, e-mail, or store notice) and obtain consent where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
